In this context, BCCI CAO Ratnakar Shetty has been doing the rounds of all international venues across the eastern part of the country. On Tuesday, Shetty had a meeting with officials of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) here. "Professor Shetty visited the Eden Gardens.

The BCCI wants separate seating arrangements for ex-cricketers. So, we are trying to build a particular area exclusively for them. We will very shortly set up a place for the former players," CAB joint secretary Biswarup Dey told MiD DAY.u00a0 Shetty is currently in Cuttacku00a0-- the venue for the first ODI between India and West Indies on Nov 29. And similar arrangements for former cricketers are expected to be set up at the Barabati Stadium there too.
