The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force, in collaboration with Thane police, arrested Satish Babulal Gupta, alias Satish Tiwari, a dacoity and robbery accused absconding since 2007, from Thane`s Wagle Estate. Defeated candidates of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the recent Maharashtra assembly polls plan to seek verification of EVM-VVPAT units, alleging possible tampering.
