Adah Sharma, who is currently riding high with two consecutive wins— The Kerala Story and Sunflower 2 is now gearing up for a hattrick with Bastar: The Naxal Story. The film is slated to release on March 15, 2024, and is directed by Sudipto Sen. At the song launch of the movie, Adah talked about the struggles of CRPF women whom she met during the making of the movie. She also mentioned that after '1920', people kept asking her to make horror movies to which Adah answered that 'Bastar- The Naxal Story' is nothing less than a horror story. In a media interaction, actress Adah Sharma talked about her upcoming movie “Bastar: The Naxal story”. The film has spine-chilling shots of Naxalites killing CRPF Jawans and also scenes depicting JNU students celebrating the death of Jawans. Talking about her film, Adah Sharma said, “We can roam freely because our Jawans are protecting us. If a film is being on our Jawans, our 76 Jawans who were brutally killed by Naxals, I would definitely stand for a film that says that’s wrong.” The film is set to hit the theatres on 15th March.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended 'Hindu Ekta Yatra' in Hyderabad’s Karimnagar of Telangana on May 13. Addressing the rally, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma targeted AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi over the recently released film ‘The Kerala Story’ which raised controversies and political discussions.
