A massive fire broke out early this morning at the furniture shops in Azad Chowk, located in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The blaze erupted around 5:00 AM in the Central Naka area, which is known for selling furniture and vehicle spare parts. Several shops were gutted by the flames. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and worked tirelessly to bring the fire under control. Tankers of water were brought in to assist with the firefighting efforts as a large crowd gathered outside the burning shops. Footage from the scene showed the charred remains of the affected shops. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. Inspector Dilip provided a brief update on the situation, confirming that the fire has been brought under control, but the cause remains unclear. The Central Naka area has suffered significant damage, but thankfully, no casualties have been reported so far.
