At a press conference in Mumbai on November 2, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC responded to Sanjay Raut's defense of Arvind Sawant, who had made disrespectful comments about her. Raut claimed Sawant didn't need to apologize because she is "imported." Shaina NC criticized Raut, saying that if he thinks the term "maal" is acceptable, it shows his mindset. She also questioned the official position of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), pointing out the contradiction between Sawant's apology and Raut's claim that no apology was needed. “I want to ask Shiv Sena (UBT) about Sanjay Raut's statement. Why the confusion?” she asked, highlighting the inconsistency in their responses to the issue.

Referring to Morgan Stanley’s ‘transformation’ report on India’s development in the last decade, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on June 01 in Delhi hailed India’s rapid growth under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Further crediting the country’s growth to its 3Ds- democracy, demography of young population and demand, the Union Minister said that India will emerge as a developed nation in the next 25 years. “It is an important day for Indian international image.
