Writer and actor Sutapa Sikdar who is the wife of the late actor Irrfan Khan talked about how their marriage was not a marriage but a friendship since they knew each other from college when they were studying at the National School Of Drama, New Delhi. When asked about the moments she shared with Irrfan Khan, Sutapa mentioned that Irrfan Khan and she discussed scripts and movies a lot and they loved traveling to jungles. According to Sutapa, Irrfan Khan didn't like birthday celebrations but each day was a celebration in the house. Talking about the upcoming actor and Sutapa and Irrfan's son Babil Khan, Sutapa mentioned how she never wanted Babil to become an actor given she is a wife of an actor herself. She added that it was a big moment when the makeup artists came up to their residence to get Babil ready for the first time, it was extremely emotional and sad but she had to be a mother more than a wife then.
