In an exceptional feat, Jiya swam 36 kilometers in the Arabian Sea to create awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder. Living with the ailment herself, Jiya undertook the unprecedented feat and swam the distance from Bandra-Worli Sea Link to Gateway of India in 8 hours and 40 minutes, setting a Guinness World Record for being the youngest girl with ASD to swim 36 km in open waters.
