Around 80 people have been rescued so far, and many residents from low-lying regions have been moved to safer locations. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for the next five days, predicting thunderstorms and lightning in isolated areas, especially in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.
