JEE Advanced Results 2024 results; Ved Lahoti from Delhi zone tops

On Sunday morning, the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Advanced results were announced. A total of 48,248 candidates qualified for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Among them, 7,964 are female candidates.

On Sunday morning, the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Advanced results were announced, with Ved Lahoti from the IIT Delhi zone bagging the top rank by securing 355 out of 360 marks.


A total of 1,80,200 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2024, held on 26th May 2024. A total of 48,248 candidates qualified for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Among them, 7,964 are female candidates. 


According to IIT Madras, which conducted the exam this time, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel, from the IIT Bombay zone, secured the top rank among female candidates with a score of 322 out of 360 marks, while her all-India rank stands at 7.

Other candidates in the top 10 are: Aditya (IIT Delhi zone), Bhogalpalli Sandesh (IIT Madras zone), Rhythm Kedia (IIT Roorkee zone), Putti Kushal Kumar (IIT Maadras), Rajdeep Mishra (IIT Bombay zone), Koduri Tejeswar (IIT Madras zone), Dhruvi Hemant Doshi (IIT Bombay zone), and Alladabona SSDB Sidhvik Suhas (IIT Madras zone).

IIT Madras has declared the IIT JEE Advanced result for 2024. 

JEE-Main, which is the admission test for engineering colleges across the country, is the qualifying exam for JEE-Advanced.

Alongside the results, the list of JEE Advanced toppers has also been revealed today, accompanied by the release of the final answer keys. 

Candidates can check for their score cards by using their login details like registration number or the information requested by the website at jeeadv.ac.in.

IIT Madras has announced the minimum marks needed to qualify for the JEE Advanced exam. 

The qualifying marks will be applicable subject-wise and in aggregate. Only those candidates who qualify for the JEE Advanced cutoff in 2024 will be ranked in the JEE Advanced rank list and thus become eligible for IIT admissions. 

Officials also shared the all-India toppers' list, zone-wise toppers' list along with the marks secured by them, the cut-off marks for different categories and other details related to the examination along with the declaration of the results.

The cutoff marks have been made available with the result on the official website.

According to the official website, the tentative start of joint seat allocation (JoSAA) 2024, the online counselling process for the IITs and other centrally-funded technical institutions such as NITs and IIITs, on June 10, 2024.
