Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur Suryanagari Express train derails in Rajasthan's Pali

Eight coaches of Suryanagari Express derailed near Pali in Rajasthan in the early hours of Monday.


The incident took place at 3:27 am between Rajkiawas-Bomadra section of Jodhpur division. Originating from Bandra Terminus, the train was en route to Jodhpur.


According to North Western Railway, no casualty was reported. An accident relief train has been dispatched from Jodhpur by Railways.

"Higher officials are expected to reach the spot soon. General Manager-North Western Railway and other high officials are monitoring the situation in the control room at the headquarters in Jaipur," said Chief Public Relations Officer.

Due to the derailment, arrangements are being made to take the passengers of the Suryanagari Express train service to their destination through proper means.

1. Train No. 22476, Coimbatore-Hisar train service leaving Coimbatore on 31.12.22 will be operated via Marwar Junction-Madar-Phulera-Merta Road-Bikaner via diverted route.

2. Train number 14708, Dadar-Bikaner train service leaving Dadar on 01.01.23 will be operated via Marwar Junction-Madar-Phulera-Merta Road on the diverted route.

3. Train number 22663, Chennai Egmore-Jodhpur train service leaving Chennai Egmore on 31.12.22 will be operated via Marwar Junction-Madar-Phulera-Merta Road on the diverted route.

4. Train number 19224, Jammu Tawi-Ahmedabad train service leaving Jammu Tawi on 01.01.23 will be operated via Luni-Bhildi-Palanpur diverted route.

5. Train number 14801, Jodhpur-Indore train service leaving Jodhpur on 02.01.23 will be operated via Jodhpur-Merta Road-Phulera-Madar-Chanderia via the diverted route.

6. Train number 15013, Jaisalmer-Kathgodam train service leaving Jaisalmer on 02.01.23 will be operated via Jodhpur-Merta Road-Phulera via diverted route.

7. Train number 14707 Bikaner-Dadar train service leaving Bikaner on 02.01.23 will be operated via Luni-Bhildi-Patan-Mehsana diverted route.

8. Train number 16312, Kochuvali-Sriganganagar train service leaving Kochuvali on 31.12.22 will be operated via Mehsana-Patan-Bhildi-Luni via diverted route.

9. Train number 11090, Pune-Bhagat ki Kothi train service leaving Pune on 01.01.23 will be operated via Mehsana-Patan-Bhildi-Luni diverted route.

10. Train number 15014, Kathgodam-Jaisalmer train service leaving Kathgodam on 01.01.23 will be operated via the diverted route Phulera-Merta Road.

11. Train number 19223, Ahmedabad-Jammu Tawi train service leaving Ahmedabad on 02.01.23 will be operated via Mehsana-Patan-Bhildi-Luni via diverted route.

12. Train number 14802, Indore-Jodhpur train service leaving Indore on 02.01.23 will be operated via Chanderiya-Madar-Phulera-Merta Road on the diverted route.

Cancellation (From Originating Station):

1. Train number 14821, Jodhpur-Sabarmati train service will remain canceled on 02.01.23.

2. Train number 14822, Sabarmati-Jodhpur train service will remain canceled on 02.01.23.
