IIT JEE Advanced Results 2014: The Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) was an annual engineering college entrance examination in India. It is an admission test conducted by by the fifteen Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian School of Mines and IIT BHU. IIT Joint Entrance Examination is organized every year by one of the IIT’s.


In 1960, the IIT JEE Examination was conducted for the first time, when it had four subjects including an English language paper. The IIT-JEE was primarily called as CEE i.e. Common Entrance Exam. IIT JEE was established as per the 1961 IIT Act.

Among 2000 and 2005, an extra screening test was taken along with the main examination, planned to reduce pressure on the main examination by allowing only about 20,000 top candidates to appear in the exam, out of 450,000 candidates.

From 2006 revised test consisted of a single objective test, replacing the earlier two-test system gets started. To be eligible for the main examination, general category students need to secure minimum of 60% aggregated marks in the class 12th qualifying examination conducted by various educational boards of India, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Disabled (PD) categories students must secure a minimum of 55% marks in their Class 12th Examination.

Once the IIT JEE Advanced Results 2014 will be declared, the candidates are required to insert their roll numbers and check the scores. Students who will meet the criteria of JEE Advanced exam 2014 will be entitled for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses at Indian Institutes of Technology and ISM Dhanbad.

JEE Advanced was conducted on May 25. The IIT JEE Advanced Result 2014 to be declared on 19th June 2014 on https://jeeadv.iitd.ac.in. Once the results will be declared students can fill courses choices from 20th June 2014 till 24th June 2014. The candidates who wish to join the B.Arch Course are required to appear in Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT-2014). AAT-2014 examination will be conducted on June 26 at seven zonal IIT’s.
