Mumbai News LIVE Updates: Fire breaks out at residential building in Mulund

The Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Aurangabad has roped in 210 nursing students to tide over the staff crunch caused by more than 700 nurses joining the ongoing strike of Maharashtra government employees for the restoration of Old Pension Scheme, an official said on Wednesday. Dr Vijay Kalyankar, Medical Superintendent, GMCH, told PTI that 720 of 725 nurses have joined the stir. (PTI)

Opposing the bail application of an accused veterinary doctor in the 2022 murder of Amravati-based pharmacist Umesh Kolhe, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday claimed that he was the "main abettor and initiator" of the crime. Yusuf Khan, the accused, was the one who took a screenshot of Kolhe`s message supporting suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma and instigated others to target him, the agency told a special NIA court here in a written reply to the bail plea.
