Mumbai News LIVE Updates: In the scrutiny of candidature applications held today in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer of the state has provided information that the applications of 110 out of 181 candidates from five constituencies of the state were found valid. The number of candidates declared valid in constituencies is as follows: Nagpur - 26 out of 53, Bhandara-Gondia - 22 out of 40, Gadchiroli-Chimur - 12 out of 12, Chandrapur - 15 out of 35, and applications of 35 candidates out of 41 in Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency have been declared valid. In the first phase, the deadline for seeking candidature applications for five constituencies is March 30, 2024, or voting for the constituencies will be held on April 19.
