Mumbai: 4-year-old killed, two injured after part of house collapses in Trombay

According to the civic body, the incident took place at around 6:45pm on Saturday when some part of the 2nd floor’s balcony of a ground plus two structure in Datt Nagar slum near Bandhan Bank collapsed

A 4-year-old boy was killed and two including a child were injured on Saturday after a part of house collapsed in the Datt Nagar slum of Chitah Camp, Trombay in Mumbai, the BMC said. 


According to the civic body, the incident took place at around 6:45pm on Saturday when some part of the 2nd floor’s balcony of a ground plus two structure in Datt Nagar slum near Bandhan Bank collapsed.

The incident was reported ar 7:16pm to the officials who rushed to the spot to conduct a rescue operation. 

The injured in the incident were rushed to the Shatabdi hospital, Govandi where the doctors declared 4-year-old Pranav Ashok Mane brought dead. An 8-year-old boy identified as Prince Ashish Kolji and Jafar Mandal, 45 has sustained injuries in the incident are admitted in the hospital and their condition is said to be stable, the BMC said.
