Bhavin Bhanushali

The family of a 26-year-old who had met with a serious accident on January 14 and who died on Tuesday, made the generous decision of donating his organs. Bhavin Bhanushali’s family donated nine organs. Among the organs donated were eyes, heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, kidney and intestines.

"We think now our brother has given birthdays to other Bhavins who will get his organs to start new lives," said Jeet Bhanushali Bhavin’s cousin. According to the family, Bhanushali met with an accident in Wagle Estate and was admitted to Jupiter hospital in Thane with serious injuries.

"It was an accident case and Bhavin succumbed to his injuries. He was very young and as suggested by the community members and doctors we decided to donate his organs as it would give life to many people," added Jeet.

Jeet added, "During such a trying time, the family still made such a difficult yet beautiful decision to bring happiness to many families with the organ donation. He suffered a serious brain injury and couldn't be saved.”
