Mr West has woken up for good. For me, liking Kanye has often served as a double-edged sword, but for this one I’ve kept aside his personality. I’ve spent the better part of this year waiting eagerly for the release of his new album Donda, and while I can’t be too happy about how his label chose to release the record, as a fan, I’m glad to have had my first taste of West in years. While there were a few misses in the 27-song record, the hits like Jail, and Praise God were euphoric.
