The primo has bagged several national and international laurels in recognition of their work. They are also the founders of ‘Creating Possibilities’ an organization that operates out of passion to inspire and motivate people around.
Their readers have a common question with reference to the sororal relation between the two. Lets hear more about the bond between the two littérateurs, as Rhythm eloquently talks about his beloved sister Rachana.
Raksha Bandhan is back and is just round the corner, how do you feel about this?
Rakhi is just another reason for me to express. The fact can never be forsaken that this festival idolizes the relentless love and dedication of the siblings. It certainly venerates the pure love between the brothers and sisters who have upheld each other in the shadiest times. This is one of the festivals that helps you bond over, and I think people should make the best of this.
We sure all your readers would be having this question, could you express a little more on the bond between the two?
Family isn’t always blood, its those people in your life who want you in theirs, the ones who accept you for who you are and the ones who would do anything to see you smile. Well, We weren’t siblings by birth, but somehow we’ve known from the beginning that the Universe got us together for a beautiful reason! She’s the coolest sister and my go to person every-time!
What makes your bond so unique and how different is she amongst the others?
Honestly speaking it’s a tuff task to zero down to one thing. She is the rarest of rare. I think her deep sensitivity towards everything, the warmth that she radiates, her gentle nature makes her the unmatched person she is. She has not only chiseled me thoroughly but has helped me grow in all the spheres of life. Courage, Confidence, strength, decency, the ability to work hard, love, empathy, honor and respect, all have ingrained into my personality and she is the person behind it. Racchu didi ( as Rhythm fondly calls her) has been my strongest anchor and has never allowed me to just wither away. She has stood firmly in the most unfavorable times and ensured one is at ease all time. She is that one person who has never thought about her own likes, dislike or joys, when it comes doing something that I like. I think she is overly selfless. But I love her boundlessly for everything she is. She is my Superman.
Could you share one memory that has made a permanent feature in your space?
One is too small a number when it to talking about our memories. By now we have a treasure trove of them. She pampers me like a kid, when it comes to taking me out for lunches, spoils me getting some of the most exquisite gifts. Lightens my spirit, becomes a clown, my comedian when one is low. She is my guide, mentor and my confidant. My wife Anuja often tells me - she’d do a great job motivating people if you stop troubling her all time.
I feel like sharing one incidence, couple of years ago we hosted our first talk show, and it was on Rachana, her life story and anecdotes of her glorious aunts. You can imagine the show being my debut one; it was thrilling, made me anxious, stressed, mixed emotions. Adding fuel to the fire, due to some unrest in the city, the roads were Choco block, and people could not commute. The auditorium was barely half filled. Perturbed! one walked to her and murmured ‘ Didi I am sorry, couldn’t make the show, the way we had thought’, she stood close to me, hugged me and said ‘ I am just here for you, the numbers don’t make much of a difference to me, my show is already a success , as my biggest audience is you, so even if only you listen to my show it’s anyway a glory ”. The show was a super success after that anyway, but she knew that moment it was important to put me at ease first. A combinations of such unique traits that she possess makes her the unparalled person she is.
Do the two of you’ll fight? She being the eldest does she bully you?
No, it’s the other way round; I am the one always bulling her. Ofcourse we love fighting and I nag her more.
It’s often believed that in a team a person tries to compete from the other making a space for himself, but here it’s different- she compels me everyday to be a better person than that I was from yesterday.
Rhythm what would be your toast on this Raksha Bhandhan for your sisters?
The loving occasion of this festivity is the best time to bond, to reminisce fondly the wonderful moments that all of us have shared. We have not only shared our joys and sorrows but also helped each other grow. Thanking you all for spreading smiles everywhere and making life so beautiful, meaningful and nourishing. Wishing them all the joy, success and happiness their way.
Here’s wishing them good luck and happiness in the years to come and we’d eagerly wait for them to come up with some more exciting stories soon!
