Greek out
Travelling to Greece isn’t possible now, but what about a gastronomic journey? The newly opened OPA Kipos in Worli serves Greek and Mediterranean fare in a pretty, Greek Islands-themed space. Dig into their table-side prepared hummus, lamb kebab, or grilled Cypriot halloumi, and sip on the Santorini or Hermes cocktails.

AT: OPA Kipos, Wadia International Centre, Pandurang Budhkar Marg, Worli.

Haveli feels
What’s a Rajasthani haveli doing in the middle of the bustling Pali Hill? With marble-white interiors interspersed with ruby reds and emerald greens, Joshi House offers you a Jaipur getaway in the heart of Mumbai. Although they have a global cuisine, we nudge you to try their kheema kachori, laal maas shanks and ghevar.

AT: 602, Dr Ambedkar Road, Pali Hill (near Janta Bar)

Mediterranean detour
Indulge in progressive Mediterranean fare elevated by locally-sourced ingredients at SoBo’s Recca. Think popcorn-crusted prawns, sweet potato dolma, pide pies, clay pot pasta and more.

AT: 1st floor, Kala Ghoda Society, 30, K Dubash Marg, Kala Ghoda, Fort.

Lonavala calling
If you’re in the mood for a drive, head to Lonavala’s Anglo Indian Café & Bistro. Nestled in the lush hills, it is a melting pot of Western flavours with a touch of Indian flair. Go for the cajun crispy cauliflower or chicken chermoula, sourdough pizzas or multi-cuisine backyard bowls, or a hillside barbeque with mustard BBQ fish. There are also a host of plant-based options. For a sweet ending, give the chikki cheesecake a shot.

AT: Breeze In The Hills, next to Della Resorts, Kunegaon, Lonavala
