Explore the art of documentary filmmaking
Films Division recently started a new mentoring programme called, Conversations on Documentary Film making. As part of the programme, it conducts a mentoring workshop for young and new film-makers on different aspects of documentary filmmaking including the language and ethics of documentary narrative. Participants are required to submit written proposals of documentary films, which are then discussed in an informal round table setting, moderated by two mentors, to enable the filmmakers to question, and thereby push their ideas/concepts further.
