Bigg Boss 17 has got an exciting lineup of contestants. From actors, to ex-journalist, influencers and a lawyer, the show brought together people from different walks of life under one roof. The reality show hosted by Salman Khan premiered on October 15. One of the contestants is Sana Raees Khan. She was Shah Rukh Khan's elder son Aryan Khan's lawyer in the Mumbai Cruise Drugs Case in 2021.

Due to her participation in Bigg Boss 17, Sana has landed in legal trouble. Bombay High Court lawyer Ashutosh Dubey raised an objection. He said Sana's Bigg Boss 17 amounts to a breach of the rules set forth by the Bar Council. Dubey has filed an official complaint with the Bar Council of India.

On X, Dubey informed, "I have formally notified the Bar Council of India that Advocate Sana Raees Khan has participated as a contestant in the reality show 'Bigg Boss 17' which is a violation of Bar Council Rules. According to rules 47 to 52 of the Bar Council of India Rules, advocates are prohibited from engaging in any other employment to generate income. Additionally, section 49(1)(c) of the Advocates Act, 1961 restricts practicing advocates from pursuing full-time employment in other fields."

Reportedly, Sana was brought on board after former Femina Miss India World, Manasvi Mamgai, backed out of Bigg Boss 17 at the last moment. According to an Indian Express report, she shot for her opening act and also did interviews with the media, expressing her excitement about being a part of the Salman-hosted reality show. However, hours before entering the house, a disagreement between her and the makers made her quit the show before its commencement.

Sana entered the house with ex-crime reporter Jigna Vora whose story inspired Hansal Mehta's critically acclaimed web series, Scoop, starring Karishma Tanna in the role of a journalist.

The contestants of Bigg Boss 17 are Mannara Chopra, Isha Malviya, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Jigna Vora, Arun Mashetty, Soniya Bansal, Sana Raees Khan, Anurag Dobhal,  Munawar Faruqui, Khanzaadi, Sunny Arya, Abhishek Kumar, Rinku Dhawan and Navid Sole.
