Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma, who is gearing up for the release of the second season of his streaming comedy sketch show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, recently visited the Wagah border along with the cast members of his show. Close on the heels of season 1, Kapil and his gang of friends prepare to launch an all-new season on 21st September, with an aim to take this spirit of togetherness even further with its theme of celebrating India and its rich and vibrant culture.

The team experienced the Retreat Ceremony at Attari-Wagah border. The atmosphere was palpable with patriotic energy perfectly in sync with the theme of the second season which celebrates India and its rich and vibrant culture.

Shukriya aap sab ke pyaar ke liye (seeing this level of josh here today, is making me feel like an 18-year-old kid all over again. Please keep showing your love like this forever. The atmosphere here today is absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for all the love you’ve shown us today)”.
The new season embodies shades of India with Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur and Archana Puran Singh tickling the funny bones of the audience.

Archana Puran Singh on her first-ever visit to Attari-Wagah border, shared, “Pehli baar yahan aa kar aisa lag raha hai ki pure Hindustan ka pyaar humari dharti mata ke liye dekhne ko mil raha hain (coming here and experiencing this atmosphere for the first time feels as if I’m collectively feeling and seeing the true love every citizens holds for Hindustan all at once)."
She chanted ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ along with the audience at the ceremony. This was followed by a wonderful evening with the BSF (Border Security Forces) Jawans and their families, who gathered in hundreds to meet the cast.
Season 2 of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is set to stream on Netflix from September 21.
