Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was stranded in Israel since Saturday, has returned to Mumbai safely. The actress flew to Israel to attend the Haifa International Film Festival 2023. Her film, Akelli, was screened there. Now, hours later, Nushrratt reached home safely this afternoon. She was seen at the Mumbai airport. The actress appeared stressed and worried as she made her way through a sea of paparazzi. Nushrratt refused to give any statement at the moment. She fought back her tears as she landed amid heavy security.

Now, a video has gone viral showing Nushrratt in excellent spirits just before the terrible incident. In a video released on 'X,' the actress can be seen singing along to Amitabh Bachchan's song 'Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan' from the film Yaarana. The footage was allegedly recorded just hours before all of this happened.

In another video, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Tsahi Halevi were seen posing together.

Akelli starred Nushratt Bharuccha in the lead, with Tsahi Halevi and Amir Boutrous also playing important roles. In India, the film was released earlier this year.

When Nushrratt was stranded in Israel, her team issued a statement that read, "Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. The last time that I managed to get in touch with her was around 12.30 pm earlier today (Saturday), when she was safe in a basement. For safety measures, further details cannot be disclosed. However, since then, we were not able to connect. We are trying to get Nushrratt back safely to India and hope she returns back in the best of health and unharmed."

Hours later, her publicist confirmed, "We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. We did not get a direct flight so she is on a connecting flight home. For her further safety, more details cannot be shared but as soon as she lands in India, we will inform you. We are relieved and thank god that she is safe and on her way to India."

On Saturday, Hamas militants attacked Israel using motorcycles, pickup trucks, boats, paragliders, and mid-range rockets and launched a highly coordinated attack, sneaking into Israeli cities, hitting military bases, and killing and taking hostage soldiers and civilians. Reports claim that at least 200 people were killed and hundreds of others injured. Several people were rescued and taken to safer places.
