As the makers of 'Ishq Vishk Rebound' drop the trailer today, step into the world of modern love with Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grrewal. With terms like breadcrumbing, ghosting, and benching becoming the new norm, this film delves into the complexities of today's relationships.
Experience the journey of three best friends, 2 relationships, 2 breakups, and a cascade of unfolding confusions. See how the equations shift when romance sparks, and you are bound to wonder whether exes can truly remain friends. In an era where labels seem to matter less, Ishq Vishk Rebound asks: What defines a bond? “Relationship ko naam dena zaroori hai kya?”
While viewers groove to the film's already hit songs, the trailer drops a subtle hint of another soothing melody, ‘Rehmat’ by Jubin Nautiyal, alongside chartbuster renditions, ‘Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar’ and ‘Chot Dil Pe Lagi’, all composed by Rochak Kohli.
'Ishq Vishk Rebound' is the second film in the franchise which was started by Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Ishq Vishk' in 2003. It also featured Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasurywala.
During an interaction with the media, Rohit talked about his equation with Pashmina. She said, "I and Pashmina fought like siblings during the making of the film. That's the last thing you would want as co-actors in a film about love and romance."
He then jokingly said that the producers were tensed looking at the off-camera equation between him and Pashmina.
At the same event, Naila revealed that Rohit is quite moody, and has an "on-off switch". she said, "Rohit has an on-off switch, and I realised it quite late. With Pashmina and Jibran, I clicked instantly but with Rohit, it took some time".
To this, Rohit said in jest that the actress is projecting it as he has extreme mood swings, as he burst out laughing.
Naila responded in the comic vein saying, "Yeah but now, I've forgiven you".
