Deepika Padukone is all set to woo the audience with her impeccable performance in her digital outing 'Gehraiyaan', directed by Shakun Batra. The film also stars Dhairya Karwa, Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, apart from Deepika, which shares a complex journey of relationships. Gehraiyaan is a relationship drama that looks beneath the surface of complex modern relationships, adulting, letting go and taking control of ones’ life path.

As the actress gears up for her digital debut, one of her interviews has surfaced once again online where she is seen confessing how she is obsessed with Princess Diana. In 2018, At a roundtable conference with Rajeev Masand, actresses were asked which person, living or dead, they would kill to play on screen.

Deepika Padukone quipped, "I was just obsessed with Diana. Just the way she was with people. I can watch her videos over and over again, especially those when she is interacting with people who have come to see her. I can't even explain it. I was shattered when that news broke. I have never cried for anyone else but I cried for her. I feel a strange connection with her. I feel like I know her without even having to meet her."

Meanwhile, jointly produced by Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions in association with director Shakun Batra’s Jouska Films, the movie will have its World Premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022, in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
