Animal lover Soundarya Sharma has adopted a stray and named him Sheru Sharma. The actor, who is shooting for the second season of the web show, Raktanchal, used to feed him and he would always follow her to her building gate. And one day, the actress took him home to give him a good life.

The actress, who is keen that pooch lovers care for street dogs, shared some pictures with Sheru on Instagram and wrote a long note alongside. "SHERU SHARMA ❤️🐶 शेरू शर्मा #MyLove. Home away from home. What would I do without you. I have adopted him. He is 4 years old. He was a stray dog n every time I passed by the building, always looking at me with those loving eyes wanting to hold n cuddle him, asking for kindness n love! Finally we found each other. I feed him everything I.e. vegetarian meals. We play a lot. He is naughty though but a happie child! It’s not for any ad or promotions, Since it’s too personal to me so never posted before! Nevertheless he deserves all mine n your love," wrote Soundarya.

Not just Soundarya, but many Bollywood actors are pet parents to stray dogs. In 2019, Madhuri Dixit adopted a stray pup with her family and named him Camelo Nene.
