In a candid conversation with Vogue India, Sara emphasized the importance of not deriving her sense of validation from external sources, including her appearance. She learned early on to embrace qualities that were intrinsic to her being, fostering a strong sense of self that remains unaffected by the opinions of others.


The actress revealed that she welcomes constructive criticism when it comes to her work in the film industry. Recognizing that she performs for the audience, she values their feedback as it helps her grow as an artist and strive for improvement. However, she made it clear that she remains indifferent to people's opinions about her personal life, such as her choice of outfits, religious beliefs, or even her casual appearances at the airport with non-blow-dried hair.


Sara's unwavering self-assurance and refusal to be defined by others' perceptions of her serve as a guiding principle for her journey. She highlighted her time at Columbia, where she pursued studies in Russian history, as a formative period that contributed to her unshakable identity.


In the Bollywood scene, Sara has already made a mark with her debut film 'Kedarnath', where she starred alongside the late Sushant Rajput Singh. As her younger brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, gears up to enter the film industry, Sara is undoubtedly setting an inspiring example for him and others.

The story follows the courageous journey of a college girl in Bombay who transforms into a freedom fighter. Directed by Kannan Iyer, the film will release on Prime Video, offering a compelling narrative with Sara in a powerful role.

Apart from Ae Watan Mere Watan, Sara will also feature in Karisma Kapoor's upcoming project Murder Mubarak, adding to her diverse and promising filmography.
