Sanjana Sanghi is currently shooting for her yet-untitled next in Kolkata. To her, the thriller is special for two reasons — it not only teams her up with Pankaj Tripathi, an artiste she admires, but also marks her first collaboration with Pink (2016) director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.

“The film rests on Pankaj sir and my shoulders. It is a father-daughter relationship drama as well as a thriller. Having Pankaj sir by my side as my on-screen father has been a gift. Tony da [Chowdhury] is a maverick director with an incredible vision,” she says.

It has been a joyride for Sanghi off the set. She has been on a food trail in Kolkata, as recommended by Imtiaz Ali and Chowdhury. “From enjoying Bengali specialties at 6 Ballygunge Place, to having phuchka by the Victoria Memorial, [I have done it all].”
