Have you heard? Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif made merry on Punjabi and Bollywood chartbusters

A day after they shared snapshots from their haldi ceremony, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal posted pictures from the mehendi festivities.

The newlyweds put up identical captions, “Mehendi taa sajdi je nache saara tabbar.” Looks like hubby dearest is teaching Kat the nuances of Punjabi.

It won’t be long before we see her mouthing the language.

The bridal couple wore Sabyasachi, and Kat donned antique bajubands on her sleeves, courtesy buddy stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania. They made merry on Punjabi and Bollywood chartbusters.

Toughest deal

Priyanka Chopra Jonas refers to shooting for Citadel, her “most intense work” as she shot for the web series amid a difficult time due to the pandemic. Over the weekend, as she wrapped up the shoot of the Russo Brothers’ espionage thriller in London, the actor posted, “It’s been hard, but when you all see it, it will be worth it. Onwards and upwards.” It was also a physically exhausting experience for PeeCee, as she injured herself on several occasions during the shoot of the actioner, co-starring Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden.

Baby on the way

Bharti Singh and writer-anchor husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa announced that a bundle of joy is on the way. The comedienne broke the news on her YouTube channel, LOL: Life of Limbachiyaas and dropped a hilarious video, ‘Hum maa banne wale hai’ on which she is seen with a pregnancy test kit. Singh, who features on The Kapil Sharma Show, is due in April. The couple tied the knot in Goa in December 2017.

The bride with a cast on her leg

On Saturday, Ankita Lokhande’s pre-wedding festivities got underway at a suburban hotel. The Pavitra Rishta star, who sprained her foot last week, was seen with a cast on her leg. Actor buddy Srishty Rode is also nursing a foot injury. Rode shared a glimpse from the celebration and wrote, “Giving the bride-to-be company with a broken leg.” Lokhande and entrepreneur beau Vicky Jain’s wedding celebrations get underway today.

Action mode

After South actor Rahman, Elli AvrRam is the latest addition to the Tiger Shroff-starrer Ganapath. Her enthusiasm for mixed martial arts landed her a role in Vikas Bahl’s high-octane thriller. After getting jiggy with Aamir Khan in the Har funn maula track in Koi Jaane Na, she shot for the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Goodbye. “I am grateful for all the things that came my way this year,” says AvrRam, who is shooting for Ganapath in London.

Another celebration begins

On Sunday, Sanjay Dutt shot for a campaign to mark the golden jubilee celebrations of Arunachal Pradesh. He filmed at the St Andrew’s grounds, Bandra. Shiraz Bhattacharya is helming the promotions, backed by Dutt’s producer buddy Rahul Mittra. The actor earlier shot for a video in the picturesque locations of the north-eastern state. Dutt is the brand ambassador for the celebrations, which begin in January in Ziro Valley.

Stepping in for Salman

Over the weekend, Farah Khan stepped in for host Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 15 at the last minute. The superstar shoots for the reality show every Friday.  Due to his Da-Bangg the Tour Reloaded show in Riyadh, it changed to early Saturday. As his arrival from the Saudi Arabian capital got delayed, the choreographer-filmmaker filled in for him. As soon as Sallu landed in Mumbai, he made his way to Film City late Saturday night to complete a portion of the Sunday’s episode with Farah.
