Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan and kids, Taimur and Jehangir, celebrated Diwali away from the city. Bebo made the festival of lights brighter by sharing an adorable picture of Jeh and Saifu from their getaway. The tot is seen holding a teether and crawling to be closer to Saif. “Love and light,” she captioned the image. Tim’s fans wondered why she did not include him in the snapshot to make it a dad and sons portrait. Tim, who turns five next month, was perhaps too busy chilling by the poolside to pose for mommy dearest.

Tanuja gifted daughters, Kajol and Tanishaa, Dhakai sarees for the festive season. The veteran actor’s regular dealer’s looms and village were ravaged by flash floods in Bengal last year. He rebuilt it and came up with fresh stocks for Durga Puja and Diwali. Tanishaa urged people to support the handloom industry post the pandemic. “We need to stand with them, and the work they do is incredible,” she said.

Wonder if beau Jackky Bhagnani travelled to the city of nawabs and kebabs to be with his ladylove for the festivities.

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu shared glimpses of the Lakshmi puja at their home. “May love and light illuminate every dark corner of your home and heart,” wrote Khan. “To love, light, happiness and health,” added Kemmu. The actor couple had been sharing their pre-Diwali preparations with daughter Inaaya Naumi, who particularly loved doing the rangoli and flower decorations. Khan also hoped for peace, prosperity and good health.

Lata Mangeshkar shared a throwback photograph in which she can be seen lighting a diya to extend Diwali greetings. Taking to Twitter, the legendary singer wrote, “Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali. May you all be happy and may God’s blessings always be on you.” Fans told her no festival is complete without playing her songs. A die-hard admirer added, “No day is complete without listening to her melodies.”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrapped up the shoot of the web series, Citadel, in time to be back home in Los Angeles for Diwali. The Desi girl wore a lehenga for the celebrations. “Kicking off the festivities with gratitude and surrounded by love,” she posted.

A day before Diwali, Ranbir Kapoor, Shoojit Sircar, Leander Paes, Caesar Gonsalves, Karan Wahi, and Vivian Dsena took to the field to play for All Star Football Club against social media influencers for a match in honour of football icon Diego Maradona. The All Star Football Club members practice every Sunday at the Wings Sports Center, Bandra. The action-packed game at the Jamnabai Narsee grounds saw both the teams showcase their football skills just days after the 61st birth anniversary of the legend and the recently released Amazon Original Series, Maradona: Blessed Dream. Awez Darbar, Zaid Darbar and Karan Sonawane were part of the social media influencers squad.
