Shah Rukh Khan gave IPL auctions a miss, but sent his kids—Aryan and Suhana—to bid big on players for the Kolkata Knight Riders. Whether they choose to pursue acting or not, daddy dearest is ensuring that his children are business savvy. Interestingly, they were joined by Juhi Chawla’s daughter, Jahnavi. Seems like the next generation is taking it away... Wonder if SRK is relaying instructions on the phone?

Former beauty queen and debutante Manushi Chhillar is eagerly waiting for the release of her maiden film Prithviraj, which has finally got a release date—June 10. While Akshay Kumar plays the titular role, Chhillar plays Prithviraj’s love, Princess Sanyogita. “I worked hard to get the part and on myself to play the role of Princess Sanyogita. It was a huge responsibility. I’m thrilled that people are appreciating how I’m looking in the film. I hope that they love how I have performed too, because that’s going to be my true test on screen,” says the actor.

Karan Johar celebrated the 12th anniversary of his Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol-starrer My Name Is Khan and said the film is a “precious part of his heart”. Taking to Twitter, the director, shared, “A precious piece of my heart turns 12 today, one that my team and I put all our soul into making... only to receive unparalleled love in return from you all!” Johar wrote.
