1) Contrary to the popular belief that he made his debut with ‘Woh Saat Din’, he had actually made his acting debut with ‘Hamare Tumhare’ in 1979.
Besides Anil Kapoor, the film had an ensemble cast of legendary actors like Sanjeev Kumar, Raakhee, Amjad Khan, Prem Krishen, David, Mehmood, Asrani and Amrish Puri. The film ‘Hamare Tumhare’ was released in 1979. The film was produced by F. C. Mehra and directed by Umesh Mehra.
2) Unlike what many think, Anil Kapoor was NOT born in Juhu. The fact is that he was born in Chembur.
Even though today, Anil Kapoor stays in the plush locality of the western suburbs, the fact is that he was not born in Juhu, as many may like to think so. Anil Kapoor was actually born in Chembur.
3) Did you know that Anil Kapoor had even worked in a garage during his struggling days!
