Directed by Nikhil Allug, a former assistant to Rajkumar Hirani, it was shot around December 2011-January 2012 in Guwahati and Shillong along with several artistes from Assam and Meghalaya. This was before Nawaz was rediscovered in B-Town post Gangs of Wasseypur.

Admits Nawaz, “I shot for it a long time back but I have no clue when it will release. I have no news on it front from the makers.” Adds Vishaka, “We have shot in pitch darkness in Shillong for the eerie effect. Nawazuddin was quite a prankster on the sets scaring everyone on the sets especially during late night shoots. He used to call me shaatir (demon) aurat jokingly.”

A source associated with the film informs, “There was an effort to release it after Nawaz became the toast of Bollywood but things did not work out. Now there are efforts renewed to make the film get a release by the year-end.” Nawaz says, “I really hope they manage to do it.”
