Salman Khan will be flying down to Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh today to campaign for Congress candidate Raj Babbar, who is testing his fortunes in the parliamentary by-elections.
The actor is slated to do road shows in the constituency and address a rally this afternoon.

The Babbar family including Raj's wife Nadira, son Arya and daughter Juhi have been stationed in the constituency. Interestingly, Prateik, Raj's son with the late Smita Patil, is also in Firozabad garnering support from the electorate for his father. The elections are on November 7.
Says a source, "Juhi is extremely friendly with Salman's sister Alvira. It was at their request that Sallu agreed to campaign for Raj Babbar. As he was busy with his film promotions (London Dreams and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna), he had agreed to fly down as soon as his movies released."
Juhi confirms, "Yes, bhai is coming. It is a big thing he is specially flying down for us."
Babbar is locked in a battle with Dimple Akhilesh of the Samajwadi Party. She is the daughter-in-law of the party's supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
On Friday, Rahul Gandhi canvassed for Babbar in Firozabad.
Salman had campaigned for Riteish Deshmukh's brother Amit in the recent Maharashtra assembly election.
Earlier, in the year for the parliamentary election, he had also campaigned in support of Vinod Khanna.
