Actor Divya Khossla Kumar sparked divorce rumours after she dropped her husband Bhushan Kumar's surname from her Instagram bio. She was also seen adding an extra 's' to her maiden surname. This change in name on Instagram led to netizens speculating trouble in paradise.

T-series head Bhushan Kumar and actress-filmmaker Diya Khossla got married on February 13, 2005 at the Maa Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. They were blessed with their first child, a son, in October 2011.
Meanwhile, after Divya dropped her husband's surname from social media, netizens also observed that she stopped following the official handle of his company T-Series. The couple not making appearances together in recent times also did not go unnoticed by curiious netizens. However, it turns out that the couple is not headed for a divorce.
Accoridng to a report in Zoom, a spokesperson from T-Series clarified that the couple is not getting divorced. Revealing the reason behind the name change, the spokesperson said, "Divya Khossla's choice to drop her married surname, driven by astrological belief, is a personal decision and should be respected. The addition of an 's' to her maiden surname, symbolising her astrological belief, is for the same thought".
So, it turns out that Divya making changes to her name has to do with 'astrological reasons' and not indicative of trouble in paradise.
Divya Khossla career:
She made her acting debut in the year 2004 with the Telugu film 'Love Today'. She was cast opposite Uday Kiran in the film. She also appeared in a music video for the pop song 'Aiyyo Rama,' sung by Falguni Pathak. In the same year, she made her Bollywood debut with the film 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo', portraying Shweta opposite Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol.
Post that Divya took a break from acting and learned the skills of cinematography and editing. She directed several music videos and a couple of ad films before making her first feature film directorial. Her first directorial titled 'Yaariyan' was released in 2014 and starred Rakul Preet Singh. Kumar also choreographed 5 songs in the film, including 'Baarish', 'Maa', 'Love Me Thoda Aur', 'Allah Wariya' and 'Zor Lagake'.
Her second directorial project was 'Sanam Re', which was released on 12 February 2016. Later in 2021, Divya was roped in as the lead opposite John Abraham in the film 'Sayameva Jayate 2'. Khossla next appeared in Yaariyan 2, a remake of the 2014 Malayalam film 'Bangalore Days' and a standalone sequel to her film Yaariyan.
