Shantivan Garden, now known as 'The Nest' is all set to open to the public on February 1. It is an eco-park that aims to educate people about native species.

The 1.2 acre park is an enjoyable walk that can be taken up by anybody from February 1. Interestingly, along the way, people can learn a lot about the different species of native plants as a part of the living heritage aspect of The Heritage Project by Radha Goenka.

One of the many aspects of Shantivan Garden, now known as 'The Nest' is the amphitheatre, which aims to have performances in the future.

A beautiful upcycled tree made with old mobile phones adorns the wall. Made by Bengaluru-based artist Vishwanath Mallabadi Devangere, it showcases the theme 'Disconnect to Connect' to evoke the feeling of being one with nature once you enter the eco-park.

The space also aims to be a multi-sensory experience through thoughtfully curated zones – Bird Zone, Butterfly Zone, Indigenous Zone, Medicinal Zone, and Carbon-Sink Zone – each featuring its unique ecosystem and biodiversity.

While the biodiversity park boasts of many plants and trees, it also has demarcated pathways that people can walk on. There are also two gazebos for people to rest under.

In the future, the park intends to have a reading space for local children.
