One major culprit is a lack of quality sleep, often caused by poor sleep hygiene. This includes irregular sleep schedules and excessive screen time before bed.

Further, an unhealthy diet high in sugar and processed foods can lead to energy crashes throughout the day, contributing to mid-afternoon drowsiness.

Sedentary behaviour and lack of physical activity can result in decreased energy levels and increased feelings of fatigue during working hours.

Chronic stress and anxiety from both work-related pressures and personal life challenges can significantly impact one's energy levels. Prolonged exposure to high levels of stress hormones like cortisol can disrupt the body's natural rhythm, affecting overall alertness.

Finally, poor air quality and inadequate lighting in the workplace can also contribute to drowsiness, as they affect the body's circadian rhythms and overall well-being.
