India tennis star Sania Mirza had a sweet wish for her Pakistani cricketer husband Shoaib Malik, who turned 40 on Monday.


Sania Mirza shared the following picture on Instagram for her 7 million followers and had one of the most romantic messages: "Happy birthday to this guy who I can’t live with or without. May you have the best year, month and day with lots of love, laughter and success...ps—I will tell you all this when you are back from practice in person but as they say—is it really a birthday wish if it hasn’t been done on the gram? Sania Mirza is one of the most talented tennis stars and the most successful female tennis star the country has produced. Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik tied the knot in April 2010 - eleven years ago - in both, a traditional Hyderabadi Muslim wedding ceremony as well as a traditional Pakistani wedding ceremony in Hyderabad.

Sania and Shoaib announced they were pregnant with their child in April 2018. In October that year, Sania Mirza gave birth to a baby boy and they named him Izhaan Mirza Malik.

Sania Mirza has won multiple Grand Slams in doubles tournaments. Mirza won the Australian Open in 2016 and Wimbledon and US Open in the women's doubles category. She also bagged titles at the Australian Open in 2009,  French Open in 2012 and US Open in 2014 in the mixed doubles category. She also won the doubles team of the year in 2015 alongside Martina Hingis.
