Shubhankar Sharma wins Western India Junior title

Riding high on confidence with a title already under his belt, Shubhankar Sharma of ITC Classic Golf Resort stamped his authority on yet another junior championship of the nationwide Western India Juniors at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club here yesterday.

Playing in the U-18 age group, Sharma carded one-over 71 in the final round to defeat Viraj Madappa of Tollygunge Club by two strokes at the par 70 championship course.
