While the whole world knows about Sachin Tendulkar's greatness on the cricket ground, not many are aware that he's a fine table tennis player too. In fact, one of his former teammates Irfan Pathan, actually hopes to master the indoor game like the Master Blaster.
“While I play table-tennis for fun, Sachin is too good at it. A lot of us in the Indian team play table tennis after our practice sessions, but Sachin and Yuvraj (Singh) play the sport like professionals.

In fact, Sachin can play hold the racquet in either hand,” said Pathan on the sidelines of the announcement of the India Junior and Cadet Open Table Tennis Championship to be held at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Stadium, Worli from October 16-20.
Tendulkar recently announced that he would retire from Test cricket after his 200th match against the West Indies next month.u00a0Pacer Pathan said he will miss Tendulkar’s bowling tips.
“At the start of my career, he has helped me a lot. Whenever I would bowl, he would advise me what length to bowl for reverse swing. I will particularly miss his presence at mid-on or mid-off (which is closest to a bowler’s run-up area). During his 200th Test, I hope the crowd gives him the best send off ever,” he said.u00a0
