Olympic legend Edwin Moses will be event ambassador for the 13th Mumbai marathon to be run on January 17.  

A total of 40 285 runners are expected to take part in different categories. Edwin Corley Moses is remembered for one of the most dominant reigns in sport.

For nine years, nine months and nine days he remained invincible in the 400m hurdles -- unbeaten between 1977and 1987.  

Moses said of his upcoming visit to Mumbai, and as inspiration to the marathoners, "impossible is only a state of mind." Right said Ed.
