Former England and Chelsea star Frank Lampard’s wife Christine has revealed that she took her mother and sister along on her first date with the footballer. Speaking on British talk show Loose Women, Christine said: “By the time I met him in the flesh for the first time, I knew everything about him, it was comfortable. So, when he rang me up and said, ‘let’s go for dinner’, I said, “it’s tough this week because my mum and my sister are here’. To this, he said, ‘bring them with you.’ And we all went and we had the best laugh. My sister said she knew then and there that we were meant to be.”

Lampard and Christine began dating in 2009 and got married in 2015. The couple welcomed daughter Patricia, three, in 2018 while son Freddie, eight months, was born in April. Frank also has two daughters, Luna, 15, and Isla, 13, from a previous relationship with Elen Rivas.
