"In Calcutta now," Norde posted on his social networking page even as Mohun Bagan remained tight-lipped about his official signing.
"Yes, he's checked in but wait for the announcement (on signing)," a Mohun Bagan official said.
It is learnt that the Haitian would sign on the dotted lines for the 2015-16 season today.
The table toppers, after two wins on the trot, face foes East Bengal in season's first derby here on Saturday.
There was uncertainty over Norde's availability for the ongoing season after he posted on social media that he's playing in Mexico.
East Bengal camp, on the other hand, is still waiting for ISL winner for Chennaiyin FC, Bernard Mendy, as the French defender is yet to get a visa.
"He will be applying for his visa today as the embassy was closed on Saturday and Sunday.
As soon as he gets it, he will get ready to join us. We're still not ruling him out for the big match," East Bengal football secretary Santosh Bhattacharya said.
