Ahead of the Bangladesh Test series, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad which has the likes of KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Dhruv Jurel, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel and a few other players who were busy playing in Duleep Trophy
Shubman Gill who was appointed as captain of India A will opt out following his inclusion in the national team. Mayank Agarwal will take over the leadership role for India A for the rest of the Duleep Trophy tournament
Pratham Singh who plays for Railways has been named as a replacement for Gill in India A
Similarly, Akshay Wadkar has been named in India A as the replacement of star batsman KL Rahul
Dhruv Jurel, who made his Test debut against England, earlier in the year was also playing in Gill-led India A. After his decent performances in the England series, the 23-year-old has earned his place in the squad for Bangladesh Tests. His replacement for the Duleep Trophy will be SK Rasheed
Yashasvi Jaiswal (India B) and Rishabh Pant (India B) have also been included in the national team for Bangladesh Tests. Suyash Prabhudessai and Rinku Singh, respectively are their replacements for the ongoing domestic tournament
Pacer Yash Dayal has also received a maiden call-up ahead of the Test series. Sarfaraz Khan who has been named in India's squad will play the second round of the domestic tournament. Himanshu Mantri, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association cricketer has been added to the side
Nishant Sandhu, who represents Haryana Cricket Association will replace Axar Patel following the left-hander's name in the national Test side
Tushar Deshpande has been ruled out of the second round after sustaining a niggle and India A's Vidwath Kaverappa will play in his place
Left-arm spinner Shams Mulani will replace Kuldeep Yadav in the squad whereas Aaqib Khan (UPCA) will replace Akash Deep in the squad
