Indian cricketer KL Rahul is quite an active sports star on social media and often shares photos of his daily routines as well as monochrome pictures of him posing in stylish outfits. KL Rahul was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and had pulled out of the IPL 2021 season, after which it was postponed due to emerging coronavirus cases in the league.

While the post was well-received on social media with over 1 million likes, KL Rahul's friend and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty also commented on the photo, as did other fans and followers. While she did not have anything to say, Athiya simply posted a smiley emoji.
Rahul had one of his best IPL seasons last year during the IPL 2020 edition and emerged as the Purple Cap winner after he was the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 670 runs from 14 matches at an impressive average of 55.83 and which included 1 century and 5 fifties. His top score was an unbeaten 132.
At the IPL 2021 season, he was the second leading run-scorer in the tournament only behind Shikhar Dhawan. After he pulled out of the IPL season, Mayank Agarwal was named captain of Punjab Kings.
Meanwhile, KL Rahul will most likely travel along with Team India in June for the Test series against England.
