IND vs ENG 3rd Test: Siraj's four-wicket haul restricts England to 319 on Day 3

At the stroke of the third day of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test, England were 290 for the loss of five wickets. Siraj took the wickets of Ben Foakes, Rehand Ahmed and James Anderson. On the other hand, Jadeja picked the wickets of English skipper Ben Stokes and Tom Hartley

India's star pacer Mohammed Siraj bagged four wickets which helped the side to restrict England to 319 runs. Spin wizards Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja registered two wickets each to their names.


The visitors' first innings ended in just 71.1 overs on day three of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test.

Thanks to the efforts of Indian bowlers. The hosts now have a lead of 126 runs in the second in their second innings of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test. They made 445 runs in their first essay with Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja smashing centuries.

At the stroke of the third day of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test, England were 290 for the loss of five wickets. Siraj took the wickets of Ben Foakes, Rehand Ahmed and James Anderson. On the other hand, Jadeja picked the wickets of English skipper Ben Stokes and Tom Hartley. Stokes's inning ended with a score of 41 runs.

Opener Ben Duckett, who overnight 133, made 153 off 151 deliveries before being dismissed by left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who grabbed two wickets before lunch.

England, resuming the third day on their overnight score of 207/2, lost Joe Root (18), who could add just nine runs to his overnight score of nine before being dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah.

The next man in, Jonny Bairstow, departed without opening his account with Kuldeep trapping him in front of the wicket. Then, Kuldeep took the prize wicket of Duckett to reduce the visitors to 260/5.
