ICC World Cup 2023 match no. 21 between India and New Zealand is underway in Dharmshala's HPCA Stadium. Kiwi's opening batsmen Will Young and Devon Conway lost their early wickets. Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell who came in to bat at no. 3 and no. 4, respectively for New Zealand stabilized the innings and made a 100-run partnership.

After the wickets of the openers, Indian bowlers struggled in the middle. Ravindra and Mitchell smashed two sixes. Both look set and stable in the middle. Ravindra's catch was dropped by India's Ravindra Jadeja, which gave the left-hander the opportunity to score further runs. He made 75 runs in 87 balls, including 6 fours and 1 six, before throwing his wicket into the hands of Shubman Gill in Mohammed Shami's over. Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra's innings gave New Zealand a sigh of relief.

Kuldeep Yadav struck the early wicket of New Zealand's skipper, Tom Latham, for five runs. Jadeja was not able to take any wickets in the match. Jasprit Bumrah conceded 45 runs and registered one wicket under his name.

New Zealand was successful in reaching the target of 274 runs against India.
