After the wickets of the openers, Indian bowlers struggled in the middle. Ravindra and Mitchell smashed two sixes. Both look set and stable in the middle. Ravindra's catch was dropped by India's Ravindra Jadeja, which gave the left-hander the opportunity to score further runs. He made 75 runs in 87 balls, including 6 fours and 1 six, before throwing his wicket into the hands of Shubman Gill in Mohammed Shami's over. Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra's innings gave New Zealand a sigh of relief.
