Hero-worship is taken to a new level by Rajkot, the town which hosts Tomorrow's India vs Sri Lanka ODI. Sachin Tendulkar gets honoured for his 20 years in international cricket which he completed nearly a month ago. There are special privileges for other cricket celebs too.

How Rajkot is dishing it out...

The management of Rajkot's Imperial Palace hotel where the Indian and Sri Lankan teams are staying, presented Sachin Tendulkar with a 20-kg cake for 20 years in international cricket.

Beena, a middle-class homemaker in Rajkot too made a special 7 kg-cake for Tendulkar. She handed over the cake to the Saurashtra Cricket Association officials and urged them to give it to the star batsman

The kitchen staff of Imperial Palace have made available for Tendulkar some Gujarati delicacies like tuver dal, dhokli and baingan's olo.

There is also a "T3 (Tendulkar Triumphant Twenty) Special" dessert on the menu for celebrity guests and Tendulkar of course!

Tendulkar, apart from India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara has been given a presidential suite with the "ultra-modern" facilities.

The hotel staff members have to wear attire similar to that of the Men in Blue.

Besides Tendulkar's, names of other cricketers feature on the menu. As for mocktail, you have "Captain Sangakkara" and "Dhoni's Sixers". And appetisers? Well, you have "UV Rays" and "Viru's Wedges".

And the main course dishes include "Bhajji's Bhaji", "Ajantha's Maindish" and "Dilshaan-e-Paneer".
