Gambhir scores 64, Sehwag flops in Ranji Trophy

With an eye on making a comeback into the national team, Gautam Gambhir scored a valuable 64 to help Delhi reach 191/3 against Mumbai at the end of the second day's play in a Group A Ranji Trophy encounter yesterday.

Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag could manage only a paltry nine before he was caught behind off Zaheer Khan’s bowling.


At stumps, Delhi trailed the defending champions by 133 runs with Mithun Manhas (60) and Manan Sharma (13) at the crease. Earlier, riding on a quick-fire 51 by Zaheer, Mumbai put up a respectable 324 on board.
