Chandravati Pal, a former Indian cricketer from Bengal passed away on Saturday after a road accident. She was 40-years old

Chandravati Pal, a former Indian cricketer from Bengal passed away on Saturday after a road accident.


The Bengal female cricketer who was also a batswoman was enroute to the Calcutta Parsi Club for coaching.


Chandravati was taken to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. She was 40 years of age.


She represented Bengal cricket for 15 years and has also played for the East Zone on few occasions.
